The 2025 Women’s Caribbean Premier League (WCPL) is the fourth edition of the popular women’s T20 tournament, taking place from 6 to 17 September 2025 at Guyana’s Providence Stadium. For the first time, the competition moves to Guyana, after being staged in St. Kitts & Nevis (2022) and Trinidad & Tobago (2023–24).
Three franchises will compete: defending champions Barbados Royals, Trinbago Knight Riders, and hosts Guyana Amazon Warriors. The format is a double round-robin, where each team plays four league games—two against every opponent—before the top two sides meet in the final. Among the tournament’s biggest names, Hayley Matthews leads the charts with 424 runs and 23 wickets, the most in WCPL history.
However, Matthews will miss the 2025 edition after undergoing shoulder surgery. The Warriors have brought in Dane van Niekerk, Molly Penfold, and Amy Hunter to replace Shabnim Ismail, Lauren Winfield-Hill, and Madeline Penna.
