Lionel Messi, defying age, delivered a vintage performance for Inter Miami, reminiscent of his younger days. The Argentine maestro scored a brace, including a stunning solo goal, leading his team to a resounding 4-1 victory against CF Montreal.

The goal, which saw Messi dribble past five defenders before slotting the ball into the top corner, evoked memories of his famous "Ankara Messi" goal against Getafe in 2007.
The match began with a surprise as Montreal took an early lead through Prince Owusu, capitalizing on a misplaced pass from Messi. However, Inter Miami gradually found their rhythm, with Montreal's goalkeeper Jonathan Sirois putting up a strong resistance.
The equalizer arrived in the 33rd minute when Messi, playing in a deeper role, set up Tadeo Allende for a powerful strike from just outside the box.
Then, just seven minutes later, Messi produced a moment of pure brilliance. Receiving the ball on the right flank, he weaved past five Montreal defenders with incredible balance and control, before unleashing a shot into the top right corner.
Segovia extended Miami's lead in the 60th minute with a stunning strike from outside the box, making it 3-1.
Messi then capped off his brilliant performance with his second goal. Picking up the ball in midfield, he once again dribbled past defenders before firing the loose ball into the net, securing a 4-1 victory for Inter Miami.
This performance not only secured a third consecutive league victory for Inter Miami but also provided a moment of magic that reminded fans of the legendary Messi of old. At 38, "Ankara Messi" is still alive and well, now shining in Miami pink.
